Project report

The final step of your project will be to write up your complete project, including methods and results.

Due

The final project report is due Monday, 5/6, at 23:59.

Collaboration

Project reports should be submitted together with your partner.

Assignment

Write a report describing your work and your accomplishments on the semester project. Your report should follow the format of the research papers we have read throughout the semester; namely, it should include (at least) the following sections:

• Introduction
• Background and related work
• Methods
• Results
• Discussion

Development projects should follow the same structure and pay equal attention to the architecture and the evaluation.

What to turn in

Your report must be typeset using LaTeX and submitted as a PDF on Canvas. Be sure to include any relevant materials as appendices, such as:

• Interview guides
• Survey instruments
• Interview transcripts (anonymized)
• Usability session notes
• Design mock-ups and/or screenshots

For development projects, please also include a .zip file with your source code.

Late policy

• Assignments submitted up to 24 hours late receive a deduction of one letter grade (10 percentage points).
• Assignments submitted more than 24 hours late receive no credit.
• While excessively late submissions will receive no credit, you must submit your project report to complete the class.
